A creative evening of prominent tar performed, People's Artist of Azerbaijan Ramiz Guliyev has been held in the International Mugham Center.

The gal evening, co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, TV channel "Mədəniyyət" (Culture) and the International Mugham Center, marked the 70th anniversary of the famous musician, Trend Life reported.

Guests were presented with a video about the life of Ramiz Guliyev.

Sardar Faradzhev, Secretary of Azerbaijan Composers Union poke about the glorious creative path of musician and his contribution to national art.

Ramiz Guliyev performed with many well-known orchestras of Austria, Russia, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Switzerland, Norway, Turkey, Iran, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Uzbekistan, etc. He was enthusiastically applauded in many countries.

Azerbaijani musicians has his own, special world of mugham. His concert program includes not only of mugams, but also theworks of world classics. In 2013, the Italian company "Felmay" under the auspices of UNESCO released his album "Dialogues with tar".

Ramiz Guliyev belives that musical instruments have their own language.

"Each instrument has its own language, especially folk instruments as they bring national culture to other people in a most beautiful way. While playing on tar, I show my voice and love for my homeland. I feel myself stronger and younger when our music conquers the world, " he said.

This jubilee evening was full of poems, congratulations, warm words and fantastic music.

In the hands of musician, tar always turns into a magical musical instrument that gives people an unusual feeling of spirituality and happiness.

Honored artists Sevinj Saryeva, Tayyar Bayramov, young and talented mugham singers Ayten Magerramova, Abgul Mirzaliyev and Khatai Hajiyev took part in the concert program. The performance was accompanied by the ensemble of national instruments named after Ahsan Dadashev led by People's Artist of Azerbaijan Adil Bagirov.

During the event, the son of Ramiz Guliyev, honored artist, laureate of international competitions, conductor Eyyub Guliyev also addressed the event.

Fascinating evening of great music ended with applause.
