Baku opens first int'l children’s crafts festival

The first international children's crafts festival "Fine colours", initiated by the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts and Cultural Center of Egyptian Embassy, has opened in Baku.

The exhibition features about 400 works of artists from the U.S., Argentina, Germany, Ireland, Colombia, Southern African Republic, Norway, Turkey, India and Azerbaijan.

The "Qurama" (False) work prepared with participation of 45 children from 10 countries was selected the banner picture of the exhibition.

The festival will include a charity sale of the participants' works aimed at raising fund to help children with Down's syndrome.
