Two people issuing forged ID cards arrested
The Azerbaijan Interior Ministry`s senior department
for fighting organized crime has arrested two people involved in
issuing forged ID cards.
Irina Konovalova, the editor of the Cartography factory of the Azerbaijan State Committee for Land and Mapping, and Parviz Dayistan, the co-founder of the Committee Against Tortures non-governmental organization, were detained while selling a forged ID card, according to the Interior Ministry.
A CD containing forms apparently used to prepare forged documents as well as certificates and various seals were found while searching Konovalova`s apartment.
