German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Frank-Walter Steinmeier has held a meeting in Yerevan with Bako Sahakyan, a representative of the illegal regime established in Azerbaijan’s occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region, as part of his meeting with the Armenian community of the region.

announced about this on June 30 while talking to Trend.
Steinmeier will meet with representatives of the Azerbaijani
community of the Nagorno-Karabakh region as well during his visit
to Baku June 30, said Hajiyev.
He said the OSCE chair will also get familiar with the settlement built for IDPs in Azerbaijani capital.
Steinmeier, who will pay a visit to Azerbaijan on June 30, is
expected to mull settlement of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh in
Baku. The visit is carried out in the framework of the German
presidency of the OSCE.
The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988
when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. As a
result of the ensuing war, in 1992 Armenian armed forces occupied
20 percent of Azerbaijan, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and
seven surrounding districts. The 1994 ceasefire agreement was
followed by peace negotiations. Armenia has not yet implemented
four UN Security Council resolutions on withdrawal of its armed
forces from the Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding districts.
