U.S. hospital to appear in Georgia

The largest multi-profile hospital will be built in Tbilisi.

Businessmen Mamuka Khazaradze and Kurt Conti, Georgian doctor Dimitri Tvildiani living in the U.S. and Economy Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili held a joint press conference in this regard on July 23.

"Thus, $60 million investment will be made by TBC Holding, Conti global construction company and "AIETI" David Tvildiani Medical University," TBC group president Mamuka Khazaradze said.

"I am proud that a process of implementing a project in such a complex social sphere as medicine has been launched," Khazaradze added. "We believe that our hospital will be a regional health care center."

Tvildiani added that the 150 bed hospital will be built in accordance with U.S. standards.

"It will be built near the Tbilisi airport within two years," he said. "This location will be beneficial for the highland regions of Georgia and neighboring countries," he said.
