YARAT to host theatre workshop

YARAT Contemporary Art Centre invites everyone to join solo theatre workshop on April 15.
This workshop will introduce the participants to the Solo Theatre. Participants will discover how a single performer on stage can present a play in an hour, with his/her voice as an only ally. This innovative practice gives the texts a new lease of life, through the voice of one person.
Enjoy the working with an expert from The Myser by Molière. During the workshop, participants can work on the intensity of emotions, the virtuosity of the characters, the elegance and the humor of the verb. To find out more you can consult complete Solo Théâtre file (in French).
The event is proposed by the Embassy of France and YARAT Contemporary Art Space within Weeks of Francophonie (Semaines de la Francophonie).

The event starts at 2.30 PM.

YARAT is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing an understanding of contemporary art in Azerbaijan and to creating a platform for Azerbaijani art, both nationally and internationally. Based in Baku, YARAT (meaning CREATE in Azerbaijani) was founded by Aida Mahmudova in 2011.
YARAT realizes its mission through an on-going program of exhibitions, education events and festivals. YARAT facilitates exchange between local and international artistic networks including foundations, galleries and museums.
