Cigar Retail store opened at Fairmont Baku

The Cigar Retail store opening event took place at the Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers on September 19.

The event has started with a light cocktail reception in Jazz Bar and was followed by a welcome speech from the General Manager of Fairmont Baku Hotel Mr. Pascal Leprou, the Ambassador of Cuba in Azerbaijan, his Excellency Mr. Omar Medina Kintero and a representative of Cahan Holding group of companies, representing the world's leading cigar brands in Azerbaijan, Mr. Emin Rasulov.

After the official ribbon cutting, guests were escorted to the retail store where they experienced the widest selection of cigars in Azerbaijan, including vintage cigars and exclusive accessories for cigar lovers.

Subsequently, guests were invited to try cigars in the private atmosphere of Cigar Divan enjoying the view of the city and the Caspian Sea. Those who prefer jazz music were able to enjoy the popular jazz compositions in Alov Jazz Bar performed by resident singer Olga Konopleva and famous guest singer Sabina Babayeva.

To further celebrate the opening of Cigar Retail Store a professional Master Cigar Roller has been invited to Fairmont Baku. From the world renowned COHIBA cigar factory in Cuba the Master Roller will showcase authentic skills that are a must see for a cigar aficionados everywhere. Demonstration will take place from September 23-26 with cigars available to buy from the newly opened Cigar Retail Store.

The collection presented in the store offers the best cigars from the brands such as Davidoff, Arturo Fuente, Gurkha, Padron, Ashton, Macanudo, Rocky Patel, My Father, and others. The Cigar Retail Store is a potential nominee for a "Davidoff Ambassador", award which is equivalent of Michelin star to restaurants.
