Have your eyes begun to redden and water? Your nose is stuffy and throat is aching? So you have an allergy.

The number of people with allergies is increasing every year. Each life without active exercise and conversely with stress weakens the immune system so that the body can not resist external enemies. Urban residents are mostly susceptible to such diseases which come with the exhaust gases, in conjunction with the pollen of the plant.

Allergic diseases usually occur at the end of summer. Main causes of the allergies in the fall are pollen. In fall, many plants continue to multiply, thus, the pollen flies in the air and each person inhaling it gets allergy symptoms.

No one is completely protected against allergies. People with sensitive skin and prone to allergies are at risk while others may pull an unhappy ticket in the form of individual intolerance.

The most common things that may provoke the allergy are mites, animals and food.

Mites live everywhere, including in mattresses, pillows and blankets. Allergy to mites worsens in fall, winter when you are cleaning the apartment, using detergent powders and looking through old books and papers.

How to protect yourself? You need to take the carpets out of the bedroom to clean bookcases or to buy pillows, blankets with synthetic filling. Meanwhile, don't forget to wash them at a temperature not lower than 60 degrees.

Unpleasant manifestations may come when you are in contact with animals without fur, as allergies often cause skin, saliva and excretion.

How to protect yourself? In these cases, it is necessary to avoid the animals, or at least not to let them into the bedroom, not to use blankets, rugs and not to wear clothes made of natural wool and fur.

Each product may cause allergy including fish, seafood, milk, eggs, nuts, mushrooms, chocolate, citrus, orange and red fruits and berries. To prevent allergy, it is better to consume regular food with natural spices.

We use cosmetics to highlight our beauty. Certainly we do not expect to receive inflamed eyes, swollen eyelids and lips, spots on the skin and brutal itching resulted from Allergies.

Doctor-dermatovenereologists Orkhan Abdullayev says that allergy may be caused by almost any substance. There are frequent examples of allergies to metals, perfumes, drinks and light.

He recommends us to pay more attention to the following factors when using a product: the expiration date, the manufacturer, price and most importantly user's manual. He advises to use detergents and powders after wearing gloves.

"Any household products, cosmetics and perfumes, contain various chemicals that may cause skin irritation or even allergic dermatitis and eczema," the doctor noted. "As perfumes and cosmetics are used on the face we need to be careful and at first use new products only in a small amount. Then wait at least for one day to see if you are sensitive to the material or not."

Tibetan barberry better known as Goji berry (widely used in Chinese medicine) is gaining a lot of popularity around the world as a tool for losing weight, healing of many diseases and the overall strengthening and rejuvenation of body.

There is a lot of information about the benefits of Tibetan barberry on the Internet but it can cause huge harms. Even drinking water may harm our body let alone other products like the Tibetan barberry.

"Chinese, Indians and Japanese used these plants for centuries or perhaps millennia in their traditional medicine. So they are more adapted to different substances contained in Goji berries. But Azerbaijanis bodies are not accustomed to such material. Therefore it is necessary to think about a variety of allergic manifestations, possible during their consumption," Abdullayev said.
