Iranian gymnast says he’s happy to win medal at FIG World Challenge Cup in Baku
Iranian gymnast Saeed Reza Keikha told Trend he is very happy he could win a bronze medal at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Baku.
“That has been a long way to victory, I did a lot of training and showed all that I’m capable of at the competition, and won a medal,” said the gymnast.
He admitted he liked Baku very much.
“There are very good training and competition halls here,” said the gymnast. “The event has been organized at a high level, fans supported all the gymnasts very actively, it is a pleasure to perform here.”
“I would like to thank the organizers and responsible persons for the conditions created for the athletes,” Keikha said.
The FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics kicked off in Baku on February 19 and is to end on February 21. As many as 45 male and 22 female gymnasts compete for medals in apparatus finals of the World Challenge Cup.
