The group matches of Azfar Business League Spring Cup- ABL Cup 2017/18 mini-football have been held in Baku.

ABL Cup 2017/18 mini-football is a corporate tournament among Azerbaijani companies. The championship is held in the professional fields of the company Azfargroup. The event was organized by ASEP (Azfar Sport Events & Promotion), Trend Life reported.

The matches of 1/4 finals were held on May 12-13.

R.İ.S.K. Company – İteca Caspian LLC 4-4 (penalty 1-3)

In the match against R.İ.S.K. Company, İteca Caspian LLC came forward with a score of 2-0. However, R.I.S.K. Company managed to scored an equalizer-3-3. In the second half, the teams scored on the goal, and the main time of the match ended in a draw 4-4. In extra time (for 5 minutes) the team could not score a goal, and the winner of the match was determined in a series of penalty shoot-outs. İteca Caspian LLC struck more accurately and became the winner of a very interesting thriller match.

Təhsil Nazirliyi (Ministry of Education) – Smart Systems Technology 2-4

The score was opened by football player of the Education Ministry, then Islam Ismailov scored two goals and led his team forward. Finally, when the match was equal, he scored twice more and set the final result.

The most exciting matches were the ¼ finals.

Təmiz Şəhər – Azersun 0-5

The match took place under the significant advantage of Azersun and marked by the double by Eyyub Efendiyev and his return to the first place in the list of scorers with 24 balls.

Efendiyev scored his 50th anniversary goal in tournaments.

Təmiz Şəhər could not prevent the pressure of the venerable opponent in the second half of the match and scored 4 goals. The best player in the Azersun team with two goals and two assists was Eshgin Tagiyev.

Az Logistika – Polat Yol 2-5

The first half ended with a score 2-1 in favor of Az Logistika, and the beginning of the second half of the game also took place in a difficult confrontation. But then Polat Yol changed the fate of the match in seven minutes due to the goals of Mehman Eminov and Mushvig Ganbarov. Mehman Eminov took part in four of the five goals of his team, making a hat-trick and one assists.

Muğanbank – Universal 2-4

Muğanbank could not take revenge from Universal like last year . Universal`s confident went it to the semifinal. Three doubles were recorded at the match: Vasif Nasirov from Muğanbanka, Javid Ismailov and 18-year-old Asker Humbatov from Universal scored two goals.

Gate Baku – Azergold 0-0 (penalty 2-3)

And another real thriller in a difficult confrontation. Azergold confidently moves forward and continues to surprise with its performance. The winner was identified in the penalty. Azergold showed their best and with a score 3-2 reached semifinal.

Thus, Azersun - Polat Yol and Universal - Azergold will meet in the semifinal. Three of these teams - Azersun, Universal and Polat Yol also participated in the semifinals of the Autumn Cup.

The most interesting moments of the matches and interviews of the play-off stage will be broadcasted on Thursday at 00:00 on ATV channel.
