Georgia doubles oil imports from Azerbaijan to $102 million in January-August

In the first eight months of 2026, Georgia imported 1.217 million tons of oil and petroleum oils worth $1.165 billion from foreign countries, representing year-on-year increases of 38% in value and 8.3% in volume.
