Azerbaijan`s President receives ISESCO Secretary General
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on Saturday Secretary General of ISESCO Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, AzerTac state news agency reported.
The ISESCO Secretary General thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the support that he extends for ensuring excellent organization of an international conference to be held in Baku on strengthening cooperation to prevent terrorism.
Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri stressed the importance of the fact that the conference will bring together representatives from 50 countries and 20 international organizations. He noted that Azerbaijan had good experience in organizing such high-profile international organizations.
President Ilham Aliyev highly appreciated the interest in the international Baku conference. The Head of State expressed confidence that questions to be discussed at the event would contribute to increasing efforts towards prevention of terrorism.
They also exchanged views on boosting cooperation between Azerbaijan and ISESCO in the future.
