Bilkent Symphony Orchestra performs in Baku

Turkey's renowned Bilkent Symphony Orchestra has performed at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The concert was conducted by Isin Metin, the Orchestra's Artistic Director.
Violinist Togrul Ganiyev, Honorary Artist of Azerbaijan, performed the solo part in the concert.
BSO, a major symphony orchestra of Turkey based in Bilkent, Ankara, was founded in 1993 by Bilkent University. It's been performing in Bilkent Concert Hall since 1994.
Since its foundation, the orchestra has been awarded by several organizations such as Ankara Public Relations Association and Mevlana Foundation.
Moreover, UNICEF has recognized BSO as UNICEF Turkey Goodwill Ambassador for its efforts to aid children in need in various regions of the world, specifically for the two CDs dedicated to the victims of Izmit earthquake back in 1999 and several other concerts held to donate money to the victims of Pakistan's last earthquake.
The BSO was also awarded as the best orchestra of Turkey by Andante Music Magazine in 2011.
