Envoy: Czech Republic interested in economic projects in Azerbaijan

The Czech Republic is interested in the implementation of economic projects in Azerbaijan, the Czech Ambassador Milan Ekert said at an event dedicated to the Independence Day of the Czech Republic on Oct. 25.
He stressed that after being appointed, the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic made his first visit to Azerbaijan, which is an indicator of the dynamic relations with Azerbaijan.
"The Czech Republic, as a strategic partner of Azerbaijan, is interested in the implementation of economic projects in the country. The Czech companies are represented in such sectors of the economy as energy, transport, oil and gas production, chemical industry and agriculture," the ambassador said.
