Azerbaijan may invite tennis coach from European country
President of Azerbaijan`s Table Tennis Federation Ismat Abasov has said the country may invite a coach from one of the European countries.
Abasov, who is also the minister of agriculture, met Secretary General of the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU) Jeanny Dom and Competition Manager Roman Plese. Abasov said the decision to invite a European coach was aimed at strengthening table tennis in Azerbaijan.
Abasov highlighted the importance Head of State, president of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev and Azerbaijan`s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attached to developing sports.
He also touched upon the activities of the country`s Table Tennis Federation.
