European Judo Cup kicks off in Ganja with 269 athletes from 10 countries
The European Cup among cadet judokas kicks off today in the city of Ganja.
AzerNEWS reports that Azerbaijan will be represented at the competition by 127 athletes (92 boys and 35 girls).
A total of 269 judokas—180 boys and 89 girls—from 10 countries will compete across 16 weight categories in the international tournament.
In addition to the host nation, athletes from Belarus, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Portugal, Tajikistan, Türkiye and the United States will also take part.
It should be noted that the European Cup, which will be held at the Ganja Sports Palace, will conclude on April 5.
