National gymnast grabs three gold medals in Bulgaria

National gymnast Elizaveta Luzan won four medals at the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament in the Bulgarian city of Varna, three of which are gold.
The gymnast won one of the gold medals in the all-around discipline. In addition, Luzan made it to the finals in exercises with ribbon and ball and won gold medals in these disciplines.
She also grabbed a silver medal in exercises with clubs.
Another Azerbaijani gymnast Fatima Akbarova won a bronze medal in ribbon exercises.
Gymnastics is the sport that is paid an increased attention in Azerbaijan. Founded in 1956, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) has experienced revival since 2002, and the renewed federation lifted this popular sport to a new level.
Currently, AGF comprises seven gymnastics disciplines recognized by the International Federation of Gymnastics (FIG).
