German factory orders experience decrease in August

Seasonally and price-adjusted new factory orders in Germany fell by 0.8% in August compared to the previous month, according to data released on Tuesday by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). However, on a year-over-year basis, orders were up by 1.5%, offering a modest sign of resilience in Europe’s largest economy, Azernews reports, citing foreign media.
