Venue for Caspian Technical Conference defined

The Caspian Technical Conference will be held in Astana and Baku annually and in turns starting from 2014.
Chairman of the Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Sanjar Zharkeshev made the remark at the meeting of the Coordinating Council for Oil-Gas Sector Development of KazEnergy Association in Astana.
He said the Caspian Technical Conference will become an annual event and according to a comparative analysis, November is the best time for holding the event.
SPE is the largest membership organization for managers, engineers and scientists and other professionals around the world working in the field of exploration and production of oil and gas resources.
Currently there are more than 110,000 members of the organization in the world. The organization has over 500 members in Kazakhstan.
The SPE mission is engaged in gathering, disseminating and exchanging technical information in the field of research, development and operation of oil and gas fields, as well as other technologies for the common good.
