Baku Acrobatic Gymnastics Championship ends with stunning victories

The 22nd Baku Acrobatic Gymnastics Championship, which will be remembered for its colorful performances, has come to a close at the Baku Gymnastics School on September 5.

Some 36 gymnasts, representing the Baku Gymnastics School, Neftchi Sports Club, and Nizami District Sports School, were involved in the competitions.

The competition was attended by both juniors and seniors and included mixed doubles pairs and trio performances.

Neftchi Sports Club women's pair Aziza Guliyeva and Zamira Rzayeva ranked first among 11-16 year-old gymnasts following the competition, while club pair Jeyla Zakiyeva and Mina Beydieva took first in the 12-18 year-old gymnast category.

Safia Babayeva and Nargiz Heybatova, representing Neftchi Sports Club ranked second, as Valeria Yazmina and Laman Mammadova from the Baku Gymnastics School took third among 12-18 year-olds.

Men's pair Seymur Jafarov and Murad Akbarov from the Baku Gymnastics School won first place among 12-18 year-old gymnasts.

Seymur Babayev and Bakhtiyar Ibrahimov representing the Nizami District Sports School ranked second, while Rashid Abbasov and Daniel Abbasov from the Baku Gymnastics School and Neftchi Sports Club came in third.

Mixed pair Nurjan Jabbarli and Agasif Rahimov from the Baku Gymnastics School ranked first among 12-18 year-old gymnasts.

Representatives of the Baku Gymnastics School, Abdulla Al Mashayhi and Ruhidil Gurbanli, took second, while Zahra Aliyeva and Mushfig Mammadov from the Baku Gymnastics School were third.

Women's trio Laman Zeynalzade, Ayla Zakiryaeva, and Samra Askerzade from the Neftchi Sports Club ranked first among 11-16 year-olds.

Narmin Ramazanova, Aynur Huseynova, and Lala Huseynova (Baku Gymnastics School) won first in the adult category.
