Azerbaijani ruling party execs meet chiefs of staff of U.S. congressmen
A delegation of Chiefs of Staff of U.S. congressmen have met with Deputy Executive Secretaries of the ruling Yeni (New) Azerbaijan Party in Baku, the website of the YAP said on Monday, Trend news agency reported.
Views on US-Azerbaijani relations were exchanged at a meeting with MPs Siyavush Novruzov and Mubariz Gurbanli.
It was stressed that relations between the two countries are on the rise. Azerbaijan and the U.S have the relations in the political, economic and other fields.
Azerbaijan's active cooperation has been appreciated within the anti-terrorist coalition.
The need for expanding the inter-parliamentary relations was also stressed.
The members of the delegation asked about the Azerbaijani political system, the activity of the country's political parties, political parties represented in the parliament, and the ruling party's ideological and political directions.
