Azerbaijani FM blames Armenia for lack of joint statement in Dublin
Lack of a joint statement of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs brokering settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan is due to Yerevan's unconstructive position, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov told journalists when commenting on the results of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs' meeting on the sidelines the 19th annual meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Dublin on December 6-7, Trend news agency reported.
"Unfortunately, because of Yerevan's non-constructive position, whose habit is the renunciation of previous agreements, we could not agree on a joint statement of the co-chairs and foreign ministers," Mammadyarov said.
According to Mammadyarov, the lack of Yerevan's political will and decisive steps is due to the presidential elections in Armenia next year.
