Closed irrigation system launched in Kangarli, Nakhchivan

A closed irrigation system has been launched in Kangarli district, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov attended the event. Vasif Talibov was informed that the system, which occupies a total area of 117 hectares, covers Boyukduz and Khok villages. A 2.2km-long water pipe and 9,930m-long water distribution pipes were built in the area.
In his remarks at the ceremony, Vasif Talibov described the launch of the system as a remarkable event. “Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is an agrarian and industrial region. Therefore the development of both agriculture and industry is our key priority.” The Chairman of the Supreme Assembly then pressed the launch button to commission the closed irrigation system.
Vasif Talibov then visited a grain farm in Boyukduz village.
