By Nazrin Gadimova

Europe's most popular music festival will be held in Baku for the first time on June 13.

Organized by the "Tuborg" and "All Star Entertainment" companies, Tuborg GreenFest is planned to be held at the stadium named after Tofig Bakhramov.

Turkey's world-famous rock bands -"Duman", "Mor ve Otesi", and "Manga"- will perform at the festival.

Depending on the seat, the tickets for the grandiose affair will cost 20, 30, and 50 manats.

Tuborg GreenFest is an annual series of rock music events that takes place in a few European countries in summer.

Since 2005, Danish beer makers Tuborg, part of the Carlsberg Group, have brought together well-known rock bands and artists for one-day festivals in Russia, Serbia, and Ukraine. In 2008, concerts were held in Bulgaria and Croatia for the first time, and GreenFest premiered in Romania in 2009.

The Tuborg GreenFest mainly draws its inspiration from the Green Concerts (Grøn Koncerts) music tours that take place every year in its home country -Denmark. The concerts started in 1983 by the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation (Muskelsvindfonden) to raise awareness and funds for treating the disease.
