Taxes Ministry generates 3 bln manats of revenues for state budget

Azerbaijan's Taxes Ministry has generated 3.12 billion manats of revenues as part of tax payments for the state budget in January-May 2014, which is 7.22 percent more compared to the same period of last year, the ministry said on June 12.
The share of tax incomes amounted to 35.6 percent of the total tax revenues. The amount of the value tax reached to 26.9 percent, income tax to 12.2 percent, excise tax to 10.1 percent, and other taxes to 15.2 percent.
The tax share from non-oil sector to the state budget amounted to 1.72 billion manats, or 55.13 percent of total revenues.
Incomes from this line increased by 15.44 percent compared to the same period of last year.
The forecast for tax deductions for 2014 put the figure at 7.1 billion manats for the Taxes Ministry.
In January-May some 37,191 taxpayers passed the state registration in Azerbaijan. The total number of taxpayers as of June 1 stood at 570,141 people.
The share of tax declarations introduced in an electronic form, was 91.1 percent in the reported period.
