Kazakhstan’s new economic policy ‘Nurly Jol’ will create wide opportunities for business development in the country, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said on November 18.

President met with Chairman of the Bureau of the Kazakh National Chamber of Entrepreneurs (NCE) Timur Kulibayev and Deputy Chairman of the NCE Ablai Myrzahmetov.

Nazarbayev noted the state pays great attention to the development of entrepreneurship, and provides full support and assistance in this regard.

“This year the moratorium on business inspections ends,” Nazarbayev said. “Since January 1, the Eurasian Economic Union begins its work; therefore, our businessmen should be ready to compete in the new environment. In addition, new economic policy ‘Nurly Jol’ provides a wide scope for the development of business in Kazakhstan. Every entrepreneur has to find its niche, "integrate" in the market.”

Kulibayev, for his part, thanked the government for the support in the development and strengthening of the NCE.

“All controls of the chamber have already been established and it is now operating in particular under a Bureau and the government, as well as a provincial regional management,” Kulibayev said. “Works on a sectorial and regional basis have been arranged in the committees of the Bureau. A close work with the Attorney General's Office has been designed. Ashat Daulbaev holds quarterly conference call with all heads of the regional Prosecutor's Offices, which examine the applications of entrepreneurs and take necessary measures.”

Myrzahmetov noted the business community has received a new message from the president with great enthusiasm.

“The confidence of entrepreneurs showed once again that the state will provide all necessary support,” he said. “Now they are getting ready for a serious and hard work.”

He added one of the priorities of the NCE is to protect human business. Currently, the chamber has received more than 3,500 applications. Each application is recorded separately and the corresponding works are still underway.
