Kyrgyzstan, Korea eye cultural cooperation
The cooperation in the area of culture was discussed during the meeting of Kyrgyzstan's minister of culture, information and tourism Kamila Talieva with Korean Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Kim Chang Gyu, the Kyrgyz Culture Ministry reported.
The sides namely discussed the outcome of the first World Nomad Games.
The ambassador invited Talieva to attend the Day of Korean Music, which will be held on September 28 in Bishkek.
Kim Chang Gyu stressed that many Korean books have been translated and continue to be translated after the National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic started receiving books from the Korean Embassy.
The Kyrgyz minister also proposed to conduct a week of Korean
culture in Kyrgyzstan.
Minister Talieva also touched upon the issues of cooperation in the
field of cinema and equipping music schools and expressed the hope
to get Korean assistance in this issue.
