Mogherini says no country with death penalty can join EU
No country with death penalty in effect can join the EU, RIA Novosti quoted the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini as saying on July 18.
She was commenting on the debates on reinstating death penalty in Turkey.
