OIC states urged to jointly fight against terrorism
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu , called on organization's member-countries to join efforts in fight against terrorism.
"There is no state or organization that can fight against terrorism alone. That is why we have to join efforts in this direction," the OIC Secretary General said in his statement.
He also noted the importance of Saudi initiative to establish the Center for Combating Terrorism under the UN, and called the project as extremely essential for eradication of terrorism.
