OIC turns to Persian Gulf countries and Turkey for support
The Islamic Solidarity Fund today allocated $29 million to 389 projects across its member-states, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said today.
Ihsanoglu said that the Islamic Solidarity Fund feels the need for additional sources of income.
He noted that the OIC appealed for funds to the heads of states from the Persian Gulf such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as to Turkey.
