SOCAR opens its 50th gas station in Ukraine

Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company continues to expand its network of petrol stations in Ukraine by opening the next petrol station under SOCAR brand in the Mykolaiv region.

SOCAR Energy Ukraine, a subsidiary of the State Company in Ukraine, reported that the station is the seventh in the Mykolaiv region and 50th branded asset of the company in the country.

The Mykolaiv region is a major industrial center of the South of Ukraine with a developed rail, sea and road transport communication.

The petrol stations will sell fuel, corresponding to environmental standards Euro-5, produced at the refinery in Poland, Lithuania and Belarus, the statement said.

Urban layout of the station led to variability of free services to guests, including tire inflation, topping up water in the washer tank, Wi-Fi, charging of mobile phones, parking, WC, swaddling table.

Traditionally, the refueling complex includes a BUTA Cafe, which offers coffee, branded doner-kebab, salads, seasonal vegetables, fresh pastries and Azerbaijani national sweets.

The company provides Ukrainians with quality European oil products in order to strengthen its position in Ukraine's fuel market. By the end of 2015, SOCAR plans to increase the number of its filling stations in Ukraine up to 60.

Azerbaijan's energy giant exported 1.2 million tons of oil in 2014, compared to about 1.05 million tons in 2013.

SOCAR, the only producer of oil products in Azerbaijan, owns petrol stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.
