Azerbaijani President receives OIC Secretary General
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu on November 25, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The OIC Secretary General congratulated President Aliyev on his re-election.
Mr Ihsanoglu said the OIC observer mission praised the Azerbaijani presidential election as free, transparent and democratic.
The OIC secretary general stressed Azerbaijan`s role as an active member of OIC, hailing the country`s support of the organization`s projects.
The sides expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-OIC cooperation would further enhance.
