Azerbaijan,Korea eye military coop
Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev met Vice Defense Minister of South Korea, Baek Seung-joo on Saturday.
At the meeting, Abiyev said that the relationship between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Korea is especially strengthened in recent years, and this process has covered all spheres, the Defense Ministry reported..
Noting the importance of cooperation in the sphere of defense, Abiyev said that the relevant memorandum between two sates is ready for signing.
Azerbaijani Defense Minister especially noted that the fastest entry into force of this memorandum will facilitate the development of military cooperation between two states. The issues of bilateral relations in the sphere of military education were also discussed during the meeting.
Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Choi Suk-Yin also attended the meeting.
