Baku hosts conference on cooperation in Caspian region
The Center for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijani President
(SAM) hosted a conference titled "Cooperation in the Caspian
region: national prospects and common challenges" on June 17.
SAM Director Farhad Mammadov and Regional Program Director at
Germany's Konrad Adenauer Foundation Canan Atilgan made opening
remarks at the event.
The conference featured two panels, including "The dynamics of cooperation in the Caspian Region: trade and transportation routes" and "The Caspian region's security strategy: national prospects, regional cooperation and role of foreign factors".
