Senior Azerbaijani lawmaker meets Bosnia and Herzegovina FM
First deputy speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ziyafet Asgarov has met Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zlatko Lagumdzija.
Asgarov said there was great potential for development of the bilateral relations.
He noted Azerbaijan embarked on the policy towards European integration after regaining its independence.
Asgarov thanked Bosnia and Herzegovina`s parliament for adopting a resolution recognizing the Khojaly massacre perpetrated by Armenia.
Lagumdzija said both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Azerbaijan experienced similar historical events.
He also stressed the opening of the center for blind and visually impaired children and youth, which had been reconstructed at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Sarajevo.
Lagumdzija invited Asgarov to pay an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
