OSCE may hold Azerbaijani political parties' meeting
Leaders of Azerbaijani political parties may hold a meeting at any time, OSCE Baku Office head Koray Targay told Trend news agency.
Targay said that prior to the upcoming presidential elections, OSCE intends holding a roundtable with the participation of representatives of all political parties in Azerbaijan.
"The purpose of the event is to create a framework to monitor preparations for the elections. We can only create a structure, but cannot take part in the meeting or mediate. Negotiations are important for these parties," Targay said.
Targay added that the upcoming meeting has not yet been scheduled.
Presidential elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for autumn of this year.
