Qafqaz University’s Technopark boosts cooperation in IT sphere

Technopark operating under the Qafqaz University has signed agreements of cooperation with three IT companies.
The agreements were undersigned by Qafqaz University Rector Ahmet Sanich, Director of Azer.Net LLC Anar Novruzov, Director of MONtech LLC Rovshan Humbatov and Executive Director of SENTRA LLC Umud Valiyev.
Based on the documents, Technopark will provide these companies with offices for conduct of scientific-research work. In turn, Qafqaz University will provide its support to the companies in the joint scientific-research work.
The sides also plan to hold a contest of 'new thought', where students from all Azerbaijani universities would participate.
Qafqaz University was founded in 1993. The education system and programs of Turkish and Western universities are taken as a model in preparing the curriculums. The main goal of the university is to provide students with higher education that meets international standards and play an active role in fostering excellence, cooperation, and interaction with international academic milieu.
