Azerbaijan has reaffirmed its full support for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Georgia based on the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders AzerNEWS reports, citing a post shared by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry on its X account.

The ministry emphasized that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to its strategic partnership and good-neighborly relations with Georgia.

“We reaffirm our full support for the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Georgia based on the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders. Azerbaijan highly values its strategic partnership and close neighborly relations with Georgia and remains committed to further strengthening the longstanding ties between our two countries,” the statement said.

Baku reiterated that its position on the Georgian conflict remains grounded in respect for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, while stressing its commitment to deepening bilateral ties with Tbilisi.
