Read moreOn December 5, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Alexander Fasel, State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, during the 31st OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, Azernews reports.
According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks addressed bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Switzerland, collaboration within the OSCE, and key issues of regional and international security.
The Azerbaijani side provided an update on the post-conflict regional situation and the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process. Minister Bayramov highlighted that, despite progress in drafting a peace treaty, Armenia’s ongoing territorial claims against Azerbaijan remain an obstacle to achieving lasting peace.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other topics of mutual interest.
