Contest started by IDEA Campaign that aims to put public awareness on protection of nature, draw their attention to environmental issues, introduce Azerbaijan nature has been extended to August 31 due to the arrival of spring and summer.

Within the contest more than 300 photos were uploaded under the #ideanature hashtag in the social network mentioned.

It should be mentioned that, there have been made changes in the terms of the contest:

1.Thus, according to the new conditions of the competition,there was arranged a jury consisting of professionals operating in the field of photography for the selection of winning photos. Each member of the jury will determine the winner by voting individually in the number of 10,000 "like"-to3 photos which will have collected maximum online votes.

2.Participation of the photos with fake "like"s and tags other than #ideanature "hashtag" and @idea_campaign "tag" will not be considered in the contest.

3.The restriction on submitting 3 photos to participate in the competition has been eliminated. In addition, personal accounts of the Instagram users should be open to public to be able to take part in the competition.

4.During the competition 3 photos with most "like"s will be shared in the official"Instagram" page of IDEA campaign each week.

Moreover, "Instagram" users who want to participate in the competition must upload photos to their pages under@idea_campaign "tag" and #ideanature "hashtag" until August 31, 2013.

Additionally, the photos have to be sent to the"[email protected]" e-mail address to be able to take a place in the "Instagram Photo Exhibition" which will be held on environment for the first time in Azerbaijan. 3 photos that will collect maximum "like"-s will be awarded with: I place - iPhone 5; II place - iPad mini and III place - iPad 2, accordingly.

IDEA campaign (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) was launched on July 12,2011 by Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva. To draw people's attention to environmental issues and increase their activities in the protection of the environment IDEA Campaign holds large-scale events on a regular basis.
