Azerbaijani, Iranian customs bodies heads discuss simplification of customs procedures
Heads of the Azerbaijani and Iranian Customs Committees are to meet on the Astara border checkpoint, spokesman for the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan Mohammad Ayatollahi said on Wednesday.
He said that the two sides will hold discussions to facilitate the cross border procedure for citizens and import and export of goods through the Astara border checkpoint.
It should be stressed that the deputy heads of Iranian and Azerbaijani customs committees met on the Astara border checkpoint at the end of January.
