When we talk about martial arts and tryto compare it with other sports, we think that it only caters physical development. In fact, a lot of things are often invisible for us.

The martial arts, especially karate focus not only on physical need but to one’s spiritual and mental development. Karate master must find harmony between physical action, and compassion for those you face in battle.

This is how true karateka should be. All of these qualities are attributed to Azerbaijani karate fighter Rafael Aghayev.

Not so long ego, Aghayev has become the fife-time world champion. The documentary about the 31-year-old Azerbaijani sportsman was premiered on November 29.
