Bern to host Azerbaijani-Swiss business forum

An Azerbaijani-Swiss business forum will be held in Bern on May 26.
Azerbaijan's Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) said the forum will be held with the support of the Azerbaijani Economy and Industry Ministry within the framework of the 6th meeting of the Joint Commission of the Azerbaijani Government and the Swiss Federal Council for Trade and Economic Cooperation.
During the forum, members of the Azerbaijani delegation will be able to find partners and establish business relationships.
Switzerland is one of the largest investors in the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan's fast-growing economy. More than 70 companies with Swiss capital are registered in the country.
Azerbaijani companies are also interested in the Swiss economy. Azerbaijan's state energy company SOCAR has already invested 380 million Swiss francs ($322.3 million), and the company's representative office is operating in Switzerland.
