Young talents shine at Azerbaijan Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships [PHOTOS]
The 31st Azerbaijan Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships have concluded at the Baku Olympic Sports Complex, AzerNEWS reports citing the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.
On the final day of the competition, held from August 4 to 6, junior gymnasts (born in 2013) and youth gymnasts (born in 2011–2012) competed in the individual apparatus finals in hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon.
Based on the final results, Amina Novruzova (BGM) won the gold medal in the hoop and ball events among the juniors, while Gulluzar Sharifova (OCAQ) claimed gold in the clubs and ribbon events.
In the youth category, Nur Sadigova (RKIM) secured gold medals in the hoop, ball, and clubs events, while Leyla Nemakina (OCAQ) topped the podium in the ribbon competition.
Throughout the three-day championships, gymnasts showcased their skills in the individual all-around and individual apparatus events. In the finals, the strongest athletes competed for the championship medals.
At the conclusion of the competition, the winners and medalists were presented with medals and diplomas.
The 31st Azerbaijan Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships provided young gymnasts with a valuable opportunity to test their skills, gain competition experience, and prepare for upcoming international events.
