Turkmenistan holds elections to parliament, local authorities

Turkmenistan hold elections of members for the parliament and local authorities – velayat (regional), etrap (district) and halk maslahaty (People’s Council) on August 21, 2016, the country’s Central Commission for Elections and Referenda said in a message.
The voting in the election in Turkmenistan will last till 19:00.
