Baku to open dip. mission in Montevideo

Azerbaijan will open its diplomatic mission in Uruguay, one of the most economically-developed countries in South America.
Currently preparations are underway to open Azerbaijan's diplomatic mission in Montevideo.
The issue was discussed at the meeting between Azerbaijan's ambassador to Argentina Mammad Ahmadzade and Uruguay's Foreign Minister Luis Almargo and other officials of this country, the Uruguay's Foreign Ministry reported.
The Azerbaijani ambassador to Argentina has also been accredited in Uruguay.
A new stage will begin in relations of the two countries with the opening of Azerbaijan's diplomatic mission in Uruguay.
The diplomatic relations between the two states were established in 1994.
