IDEA Campaign marks 2nd anniversary
The 12th of July 2013 marked the second anniversary of the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Campaign.
The campaign, having built a regional and international cooperation network to protect the environment, has reached a number of achievements during the past two years. Within a short span of time, the Campaign has implemented about 10 international and more than 50 local projects.
The IDEA International Campaign has been cooperating with influential organizations such as WWF, UNEP and Webistan and, in general, with some 20 international and 30 local organizations.
Primary objective of the campaign is to create real and virtual youth networks in order to seek solution of environmental issues at local and international levels, to inform them of the challenges facing the Earth and implement local and international projects in this field.
The IDEA Campaign was launched by Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva.
