An amazing concert program with participation of well-known Azerbaijani musicians was held within 9th Gabala International Music Festival.

The third day of the festival featured performance of the soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Fagan Hasanli, the musician of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after U. Hajibeyli, Mamed Rajabli (clarinet), winner of the Grand Prix " Sary Gyalin" Aydan Guliyeva (soprano), laureate of international competitions, Special prize of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Taleh Yakhiyaev (baritone) and art director of baroque music ensemble "D ACCORDO" Ilaha Sadigzade (piano).

The works "Night Butterflies", "Sad Birds" by M.Ravel, "Do not Be Deceived" by S.Prokofiev, Nocturne from "Legends of Love" by A.Melikov, "Aria of the Doll" from the opera "Tales of Hoffmann" by J.Offenbach, S.Rahmaninov's "Dream", F.Amirov's "Azərbaycan elləri", Hasan Khan's aria from the opera "Koroghlu" by U. Hajibeyli and others sounded on the stage, Azertac reported.

Further, an open stage, installed in front of the Heydar Aliyev Congress Center in Gabala, hosted a concert of the chamber orchestra of Baku Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Honored Artist, Presidential Scholar Fuad Ibragimov.

Musical pieces including "Navarre" by P. Sarasate, "Summer" from the cycle "Seasons" by A.Vivaldi, "Nizami" by F.Amirov, symphony "The Sea" by F.Badalbeyli, "Plink Plank Plunk" by L.Anderson," Gaytagy " by Niyazi made this festival even more special.

The performance of Baku Chamber Orchestra was greeted with applause from spectators.

Then, the soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, khanende Arzu Aliyeva appeared on the stage. She was accompanied by Honored Artist Etibar Gasimbayli (accordion) and young musician Nijat Masimov (balaban). Azerbaijani folk songs "Gəl bizə", "Sarı gəlin", "Qaragilə" were performed at the musical evening. Further, Azerbaijani folk dance "Uzundere" thrilled viewers.

Gabala International Music Festival is an annual open-air festival of classical music held every summer beginning from 2009 in Gabala, Azerbaijan.

Famous musicians from different countries, world-known symphonic and philharmonic orchestras will perform at the festival, which will close on August 3.

The event is co- organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism with the support of Gilan Holding.
