SOCAR’s oil shipping from Ceyhan port hits 14.282 million tons
Azerbaijan's state energy company SOCAR announced that in June it 2.579 million tons of Azerbaijani oil was shipped from Turkish port Ceyhan.
In June 1.795 million tons of overall shipping is accounted for the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ). In 2014 shipment of Azeri oil from Ceyhan still totals 14.282.527 million tons.
SOCAR also has renewed statistical data on Azerbaijani oil export via the major pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) named after Heydar Aliyev.
It informs that 2.343.834 tons of Azerbaijani oil was carried via BTC to Turkey's Ceyhan port in June.
From the very start of the BTC operation in mid-2006 to 1 May 2014 the pipeline delivered 249.684.733 tons to Ceyhan.
