There is something about the autumn colors and crisp air that makes us all fill with a great desire to head outdoors and explore the world all over again.

Autumn is perfect time for travel, and in Azerbaijan that means plenty of festivals celebrating the local culture.

Analytical agency TurStat has presented the best travel destinations for the upcoming weekend, Day. Az reported.

The top 5 best events of the coming weekend include the "Autumn Gifts of Azerbaijan" festival in Moscow, the International Tea Festival in Baku, the International Jazz Days festival in Arkhangelsk, the Buninskaya Derevnya Literary festival in the Lipetsk region and the Oktoberfest gastronomic festival in Krasnodar city.

The rating is based on the analysis of the popularity and uniqueness of events and festivals.

The Second International Tea Festival, organized by the Azerbaijani Association of National Cookery and the Center for National Cookery, will be held on International Chefs Day in Baku.

The event will be held at Sheraton Baku Airport Hotel on October 20.

The tea traditions of Azerbaijan, Japan, Turkey, China, India, Russia, Uzbekistan and other countries will be presented at the festival.

"Autumn Gifts of Azerbaijan" is underway in Moscow.

Azerbaijan's rich history and culture are presented to the residents of Moscow and guests of the city.

As part of the festival, visitors have a chance to purchase various gifts of nature from Azerbaijan, including persimmons, grapes, pomegranates, as well as dried fruits, nuts, juices, jam, dairy products, spices.

Guests also enjoy a wide selection of souvenirs, national decorations, textiles and tableware.
